Use this map to help your child understand what they are reading. Your child can write the answers or draw a picture. 
Characters- Who are the characters?
Setting- Where does the story take place? (outside, inside, store, living room, etc.)
Problem- What is going wrong in the story?
Solution- How was the problem solved?
